RIMZIM DADU x CARTIER

The collaboration extends Rimzim Dadu’s material language beyond couture into sculptural installation.
Invited by Cartier for Trinity 100, the iconic interlocking ring became the starting point - three bands moving as one.
Constructed through metallic cord textiles in gold, silver, and rose tones, the work explored continuity, structure, and fluidity.

THE OBJECT

The collaboration between Rimzim Dadu and Cartier began with a shared language of form, precision and permanence. Cartier’s sculptural geometry - its balance of strength and refinement - became the starting point for a textile dialogue. Rather than translate jewellery literally, the studio studied its architecture: the curvature of a ring, the discipline of proportion, the tension between structure and fluidity.

INSPIRATION & CONCEPT

Invited by Cartier for Trinity 100, Rimzim Dadu approached the interlocking ring as structure - three bands moving as one. Jewellery became engineered textile.

Metallic cord surfaces in gold, silver and rose tones translated curvature into construction, exploring continuity, precision and fluidity.
